Erinle also known as Ajaja or Inle is the orisha of health and all medical healing. Erinle’s dwelling is the coastlines of where the river and oceans meet. Erinle is depicted as man with fine features as of a woman. He has long locks of 7 braids. His knowledge of all medical herbs and sticks is very abundant. He gains a lot of herbs from the forest, and takes care of the needy and the sick. He is a very humble energy and is always tending to ones that are in need of him.
Erinle is a hunter energy as well, and can also be found in the forest seeking herbs. He walks with a staff and his dagger (aspect of Ajaja) or a fishing hook which are also his symbols.
His necklace that is worn by the priests of Erinle is made up of blue, yellow, green and coral beads. It’s also adorned with multiples precious stones. The children of Erinle are usually quiet individuals. They seem to love the medical field and they are known to be nurturing people.
